Jeremy Lamb made just 4-of-13 shots to score 10 points on Sunday, hitting two 3-pointers with five rebounds, two assists and one block.

Lamb's minutes were up to 30 tonight, at least, for just the second time in the past seven games. His defensive stats have dried up in the past dozen games, with 0.7 steals and 0.2 blocks, and until that ticks up he's just a low-end guy in most formats. It doesn't help that Charlotte has a poor two-game slate next week.

Nicolas Batum made 1-of-4 shots to finish Sunday's road loss with six points, seven boards, two assists, one steal and one block.

Batum hasn't attempted more than seven shots in a game since mid-December, so the low scoring is no surprise. The Hornets as a team are shooting just 57.2% within five feet of the hoop this season, worse than every team but the Knicks, and it doesn't help that Batum and Marvin Williams prefer to live beyond the arc -- they combined for 12 shots from deep tonight, but just four inside 10 feet. Both guys are better in roto thanks to a consistent dose of across-the-board stats.

Bismack Biyombo had his third double-double of the season on Sunday, scoring 10 points and grabbing 12 rebounds with one block in 24 minutes.

The veteran went off vs. Phoenix in his last game for 11/13/3 with five blocks, and anyone playing him for low-end value recently has to be thrilled. He's prone to occasional duds, as we saw on Thursday, but should remain a cheap source of boards, blocks and FG% -- that is, until Cody Zeller (hand) returns or coach James Borrego decides to start Willy Hernangomez (six points, three boards).

Nuggets coach Mike Malone downplayed suggestions that Isaiah Thomas (hip) could return in February, saying, "You will see [Thomas] when he is ready to play."

"There is nothing that has been said about February," Malone said. The initial report came from Adrian Wojnarowski, who said there was "strong confidence" that IT would return "no later than" Feb. 22. Malone's statement doesn't rule that out, necessarily, but the goalposts seem to be continually moving when it comes to Thomas' return date. For now, he's only a deep-league stash.

Dragan Bender is in the Suns' starting lineup on Sunday, as expected.

De'Anthony Melton is also in the starting five despite getting benched after halftime in Saturday's game. It'll be interesting to see Bender get an expanded opportunity in what has been a lost season.

Aaron Gordon (sore lower back) is questionable vs. the Hawks on Monday.

Gordon got hurt on Friday and wasn't able to suit up on Saturday. Orlando's busy stretch may have precluded a practice today, too, so we're unlikely to know more until shootaround on MLK Day. If he can't play expect Jonathon Simmons to start while Jonathan Isaac picks up more minutes.
Jan 20 - 6:57 PM

Joel Embiid (back tightness) is questionable to play vs. Houston on Monday.

Embiid was game-time with this injury on Saturday, but he suited up and dropped 31 points in a tough matchup. It may have flared up on him but details are scarce, and owners should await updates on Monday afternoon -- the good news is that it's one of the later tip-offs of a busy all-day slate.

Jimmy Butler (sore right wrist) is questionable for Monday's game vs. the Rockets.

The Wolves did list Butler as out with a right wrist injury back in late September, but that was during his acrimonious holdout -- it hasn't been an issue since. Hopefully he's only on the injury report as a precaution, but we'll know more after Philly's shootaround.
