Arkansas redshirt sophomore RB Rakeem Boyd (undisclosed) returned to practice on Tuesday.

Boyd (6'0/200) missed the second half of the 37-33 loss to Ole Miss on Saturday, and was seen in street clothes on the sideline during the game. While a return to practice doesn't guarantee that the talented sophomore will play, it's certainly a positive sign. We should have more clarity on his status in the coming days.

Hero Sports' college football writer Sam Herder lists Elon redshirt senior Olisaemeka Udoh as the top guard prospect from the FCS programs.

Udoh (6'5/336) has been an All-Conference performer for the Phoenix over the past three years, and video shows a player that can maul, albeit against inferior competition. While Udoh is currently a tackle, Herder reports that Udoh is seen as a guard prospect at the next level, and understandably so. He ranks 12th on Hero Sports list of guards overall, which means he could be a mid-round prospect. He's certainly a name that's worth monitoring, and should get invites to several events going forward.

ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr. believes that Florida State junior DE Brian Burns is a potential first-round pick.

Florida State has not exactly been impressive in 2018 under first-year coach Willie Taggart, but there's NFL talent on the Seminoles, including Burns (6'5/231). "People need to watch them for Burns, who could be an elite NFL pass-rusher," Kiper writes. "He can bend the edge as well as any player in this class, and he already has seven sacks this season." As Kiper also notes, workouts will be very important for Burns because of his lack of ideal size, but if he tests well -- as expected -- he's got a chance of going early even in this loaded, loaded defensive class.

NFL Draft Scout's Ric Serritella lists Minnesota junior DE Carter Coughlin as a player that has raised his stock through his play in 2018.

Coughlin is having a breakout season for the Golden Gophers, with seven sacks in his six games. He's also made 9.5 tackles for loss, and he's been a tough block for any tackle that has been assigned to him. A former four-star signing, Coughlin (6'4/245) doesn't have elite size, but his production is something teams have to take notice of. He's certainly a name to keep an eye on going forward.

Louisville sophomore TE Kemari Averett remains in custody after his Monday night arrest on charges of first-degree wanton endangerment and fourth-degree assault.

Averett remains at the Louisville Metro Jail after an appeal to reduce his $10,000 bail was denied. The arrest came after a violent argument over a missing laptop where Averett allegedly put a gun to his girlfriend's temple and threatened to send people to "find her." His next court appearance is October 26.

Uncommitted five-star 2019 DE Kayvon Thibodeaux will announce his commitment on December 15.

The top prospect is expected to decide between Alabama, Florida State, USC, Oregon and Florida. The 6-foot-5, 220-pound defensive end took in a visit to Oregon for their overtime victory over Washington, and told Greg Biggins of CBS Sports that he could "see himself going there." Florida State and USC are still considered the favorites, however, but Thibodeaux clearly enjoyed his time at Oregon.
