Florida State hired Miami WR coach Ron Dugans for the same position.

Dugans met with FSU HC Willie Taggart a few weeks ago, and they finally worked out an agreement to head north to Florida State. Before his coaching career started, Dugans was a third-round NFL pick as a receiver after a successful collegiate career with the Seminoles.

Alabama is expected to hire Mississippi State RB coach Charles Huff for the same position

Huff may end up as Alabama's co-offensive coordinator as well, but nothing is official. At Mississippi State, Huff led an offense that had five players who averaged over 5.0 yards per carry. Before accomplishing that, Huff was an important part of Saquon Barkley's development and success at Penn State, so it's a quality hire for Nick Saban. But that shouldn't surprise anyone.

Draft Analyst's Tony Pauline has dropped Oregon DE Jalen Jelks' draft grade down to the third-round.

At one point, Jelks (6'6/245) was a potential first-rounder but his length and quickness never translated to levels analysts' anticipated. Potential first-round lineman Andre Dillard "manhandled" Jelks in Oregon's matchup against Washington State in 2018, but Jelks may save his draft stock with big numbers at the NFL Combine.

Draft Analyst's Tony Pauline hands Delaware S Nasir Adderley a fifth-round grade.

There's been first-round buzz for Adderley (6'0/200), so it appears there's varying opinion about the small school prospect. The senior is currently considered the favorite to be the first small school player to be selected in the 2019 NFL Draft, but it's expected to be a lot higher than Round 5. The Reese's Senior Bowl will provide Adderley NFL-caliber competition, something he didn't get often at Delaware.

NC State hired Marshall special teams coordinator Todd Goebbel as the special teams coordinator and tight ends coach.

Goebbel did a little bit of everything at Marshall, coaching tight ends and quarterbacks while also becoming the co-offensive coordinator and special teams coordinator. He will be replacing coach Eddie Faulkner who recently took a job with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Mississippi State C Elgton Jenkins given a third-round grade by Draft Analyst's Tony Pauline.

It's the same grade as he was given entering the season, but there was a time when Jenkins (6'4/311) was considered a "slider" during the season. That was directly after trying to block Alabama's Quinnen Williams, who was nearly unblockable in 2018. Jenkins will look to answer some questions about his abilities at the Reese's Senior Bowl, where he's considered one of the better offensive lineman.

Draft Analyst's Tony Pauline gives Notre Dame RB Dexter Williams a sixth-round grade.

Williams (5'11/215) emerged as a big-play back for the Fighting Irish after serving an early-season four-game suspension. The senior averaged 6.3 yards on his 158 carries, scored seven 20+ yard touchdowns, and went for six on 5-of-19 red zone carries. An interesting prospect with some off-the-field concerns, Williams needs to have a positive Senior Bowl week to become more than a sixth-rounder.

LSU redshirt senior QB Joe Burrow was spotted in a sling.

Burrow (6'4/216) played well in LSU's bowl win on New Year's Day, so this is likely a minor injury that won't affect his 2019 offseason at all. At least that's what The Advocate's Brooks Kubena is hearing from LSU staff. As a redshirt junior in 2018, Burrow passed for 2,894 yards and 16 touchdowns, but he began to show more upside later in the season. Burrow should surpass these stats in 2019, assuming he's healthy.
